Dear Patient,
01
A masticatory sensitivity may occur, this is a “normal” and transient reaction that should not worry you. In this case, take anti-pain or anti-inflammatory drugs.
Dafalgan 1 gr: 4 / day (when pain)
Ibuprofen 400 mg: 4 / day (when pain)
Ibuprofen 600 mg: 3 / day (when pain)
These medicines are only to be taken in case of pain and not in a systematic way.
02
If during the days following your treatment you find that your gum or that your cheek swollens , it is important to contact us to see if you need to take antibiotics.
03
If you have allergy , pregnancy or taking other medicines, please let us know or contact your doctor before taking any medication for your dental problem.
04
Please wait until anesthesia decreases or disappears before eating (to prevent lip bites).
05
It is important that you do not stay with temporary filling. It should be replaced as soon as possible by a permanent filling by your general dentist so as not to compromise the sustainability of treatment.
06
Monitor the condition of the temporary shutter . The latter must retain a sufficient thickness to avoid re-contamination of the interior of the tooth with saliva that contains many bacteria. Similarly, if a temporary crown is loosened on a tooth, it is urgent to reseal the tooth as soon as possible.
